FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions before your next advance
Understand the process, what we review, and what to expect before you request an advance.
The basics
What is a real estate commission advance?
A commission advance gives you access to a portion of an anticipated real estate commission before closing. Before funding, you receive an agreement explaining the amount, fee, repayment terms, and your responsibilities.
Is a commission advance a loan?
No. A Commission Accelerator advance is a purchase of commission receivables. Your agreement explains the terms of that purchase, including the amount, fee, and your responsibilities.
Who can request an advance?
The program is for licensed real estate professionals. We review your license, brokerage information, transaction history, and other relevant details to determine eligibility. Each advance request is then reviewed separately.
Can I request an advance on an active listing or commercial transaction?
Yes. We review requests involving pending sales, active listings, and commercial transactions. The documents and review requirements depend on the opportunity. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Request & review
Does an approved agent profile mean my advance is approved?
No. Agent eligibility and transaction approval are separate decisions. Every advance is subject to its own review, verification, required documents, availability of funds, and final approval.
What information should I have ready?
Start with your license and brokerage information, the amount you’re requesting, and the details of the listing or transaction. We may also need supporting agreements, commission information, escrow contact details, and the expected closing date.
Your account director will explain what’s needed for your specific request.
Does my broker need to be involved?
Brokerage acknowledgment, verification, or approval may be required depending on the request and applicable documents. We explain the required coordination before funding.
Who will help me through the process?
Your account director is your single point of contact from request to payoff. They help you prepare your request, gather information, and keep you updated as the file moves through underwriting, final approval, and funding.
How do I get started?
Select Request an Advance to begin in the client portal. Share your professional information and the opportunity you want reviewed.
Costs & timing
How much does an advance cost?
Fees depend on the request, transaction, timing, documents, and risk. We provide the applicable amount, fee, and repayment terms for you to review before funding.
How quickly can I receive funds?
Timing depends on the request and how complete and verifiable the information is. Every request receives human review, and additional documents or clarification may be needed. We do not guarantee a particular funding timeline.
When plans change
What if my closing date changes?
Contact your account director promptly. We’ll review the updated transaction details and discuss next steps. Your agreement controls the applicable dates, fees, and obligations.
What happens if my deal falls through?
Contact your account director promptly. Depending on the situation, options may include moving the advance to another existing transaction, arranging a self-pay payment plan, or exploring other ways to get back on track. Your account director will guide you through the available options and next steps.
