Terms & Disclosures

Understand your advance before you move forward.

A Commission Accelerator advance is a purchase of commission receivables. Before funding, you receive an agreement explaining the purchase price, fee, purchased commission, payment dates, and your responsibilities.

This page provides a general overview. Your signed agreement and any subsequent written amendments govern your advance.

A purchase of commission receivables

Commission Accelerator purchases an interest in an anticipated real estate commission. An advance is not a loan. Advances are intended for business purposes, not personal, family, or household expenses.

Eligibility and approval

Agent eligibility and approval of an individual advance are separate decisions. Each request is subject to human review, verification, required documents, availability of funds, and final approval. Submitting a request or having an approved agent profile does not guarantee funding.

Amounts and fees

Your agreement identifies the amount advanced and the purchased commission due. Review these amounts and all applicable fees before signing. Additional fees may apply if payment is late or an authorized ACH transaction is declined.

Broker and escrow coordination

Your broker participates in the documentation and payment process. Payment is generally coordinated through closing. The agreement addresses the broker’s obligations concerning future commissions and limits the broker’s repayment liability if the sale does not close.

Payment dates and closing changes

Your agreement identifies the applicable payment date. Our current agreement provides a 25-day grace period following the stated closing date, during which no additional fees accrue.

Your signed agreement and any subsequent written amendments govern your advance.

If your closing date changes or a transaction falls through, contact your account director promptly to discuss available options and next steps.

If a transaction falls through

Depending on the situation, options may include moving the advance to another existing transaction, arranging a self-pay payment plan, or exploring other ways to get back on track.

Your account director will guide you through the available options and next steps. A transaction falling through does not automatically cancel your obligations under the agreement.

Payment authorizations and protection of the purchased commission

Your agreement may include authorizations concerning future commissions, ACH transactions, and public filings to protect Commission Accelerator’s interest. Review these provisions carefully before signing.
