Our commitment to your privacy

Effective date: October 5, 2026 | Last updated: September 30, 2026

Commission Accelerator, LLC ("Commission Accelerator," "we," "us," or "our") provides commission advances to licensed real estate professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at mycommissionaccelerator.com, our client portal at clients.mycommissionaccelerator.com, and our email, phone and text communications (together, the "Services").

Our Services are designed for real estate professionals and brokerages acting in a business capacity. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy. Your advance agreements may contain additional terms about how we handle information connected to a specific advance.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

• Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile phone number, home address, and account login credentials. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to us.

• Professional information: real estate license number and licensing state, current and prior brokerage affiliation, and related professional details.

• Transaction information: property address, deal type (pending sale, active listing or commercial), MLS number, list or purchase price, contract, listing agreement and expiration dates, estimated close of escrow, expected commission, escrow company, escrow number, and escrow officer contact information.

• Documents: documents you upload to support a request, such as purchase agreements, listing agreements, commission instructions, broker acknowledgments, and license or brokerage records, and government-issued identification.

• Financial information: wire instructions (bank name, account holder name, account and routing numbers), advance amounts, fees, demands, payment and repayment records, and wire confirmations.

• Agreements and signatures: typed electronic signatures, acceptance or decline of offers, and the date and time of those actions.

• Communications: messages, notes and other information you send us by email, phone, text or through the portal.

Information about other people

Transaction documents and escrow details often contain information about other people, such as buyers, sellers, other agents, brokers and escrow officers. We use this information only to evaluate, document, fund and collect the related advance. When you provide it, you confirm that you are permitted to share it with us for that purpose.

Information we receive from others

• Your brokerage, to confirm your affiliation, the transaction and the commission, and to coordinate payment at closing.

• Escrow and title companies, to confirm transaction status, closing dates and disbursement.

• Public sources, such as state real estate licensing agencies (for example, the California Department of Real Estate) and MLS or public property records.

Information collected automatically

• Website: our website host (Squarespace) collects standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, and Adobe Fonts to display typefaces. These services use cookies or similar technologies and may collect your IP address and approximate location.

• Client portal: to protect accounts and prevent abuse, the portal uses Google reCAPTCHA through Firebase App Check. This sends hardware, software and interaction information to Google, and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We also keep security and activity logs, such as sign-ins and changes to an application.

2. Use of Information

• To evaluate your eligibility and each advance request, including verifying your identity, license, brokerage and transaction. Every request is reviewed by a person; we do not make advance decisions solely by automated means.

• To prepare offers, terms and agreements, and to record your acceptance.

• To fund approved advances and send payment to the account you designate.

• To coordinate repayment with your brokerage and escrow or title company, including sending demands at closing.

• To service your account, answer questions and send transaction-related messages.

•     To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, wire fraud, security incidents and misuse of the Services.

•     To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, and to enforce our agreements.

•     To understand and improve our website and Services.

•     To send you information about our Services. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described below.

•     With your brokerage: to confirm your affiliation and the transaction, obtain any required acknowledgment, and arrange payment from the commission at closing.

•     With escrow and title companies: to deliver demands and payoff instructions and confirm disbursement.

•     With service providers: companies that host, operate or support our Services under contracts that limit their use of the information. These include cloud hosting and database services (Google Cloud and Firebase), website hosting (Squarespace), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace), analytics (Google Analytics), security (Google reCAPTCHA), DocuSign (eSignatures), JP Morgan Chase Bank (wire transfers), and Intuit (accounting software).

•     With professional advisers: such as attorneys, accountants and auditors, under duties of confidentiality.

•     For legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, court order or other legal process; to protect the rights, property or safety of Commission Accelerator, our clients or others; and to collect amounts owed. Where the law permits and it is reasonable to do so, we will try to notify you before disclosing your information in response to legal process.

•     In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

•     With your consent: when you direct us to share information or give your consent.

4. Cookies, Analytics and Do Not Track

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support basic site functionality and understand how visitors use our website through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect certain website features. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Commission Accelerator does not sell personal information. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Our website does not currently change its data collection practices in response to these signals.

5. How We Protect Information

Information Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who need the information to perform their responsibilities. Information you submit through the client portal is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure located in the United States. No system or method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Wire Fraud and Payment Security

Commission advances and related payments can be targets of wire fraud. We will never change wire instructions by email alone, and we will never ask you to disclose your account password.

Before acting on any request to change wire instructions or payment details, call Commission Accelerator at 530.877.5000 to verify the request. Use the number published on our website—not a phone number or link provided in the suspicious message.

6. Your Choices and Rights
  • Access and correction: You may review and update available profile information in the client portal or contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information.

  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information or closure of your account. We may retain information needed to administer outstanding advances, process payments, maintain agreements, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud, as described in Section 7. Closing your account does not cancel outstanding payment obligations. You will need an active account to submit new advance requests.

  • Marketing: You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. We may continue to send account, transaction, security, and other service-related messages.

  • Identity verification: We may need to verify your identity before providing access to, correcting, or deleting personal information. Making a privacy request will not, by itself, affect how we evaluate an advance request.

  • Additional rights: Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.

To submit a privacy request, contact us using the contact information provided in this policy.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After an advance is repaid, closed or declined, we keep related records for seven (7) years, or longer if required by law, regulation, a legal hold or an unresolved dispute. We then delete the information or de-identify it.

8. Children

Our Services are for licensed real estate professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Where We Store Information

We store and process information in the United States. We do not intentionally transfer personal information outside the United States, although some service providers may access it from other countries under contractual safeguards.

10. Links to Other Websites

Our Services may link to websites we do not control, such as brokerage, escrow or licensing agency sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will also notify registered clients by email or through the client portal before the changes take effect.
